Anees Bazmee’s directorial romantic comedy film Thank You completed 14 years. Starring Akshay Kumar, Bobby Deol, Suniel Shetty, Irrfan Khan, Sonam Kapoor, Rimi Sen, and Celina Jaitly in the lead roles, the film was released in theatres on 8 April 2011.
Backed by producers Ronnie Screwvala and Twinkle Khanna, the film is a joint venture between UTV Motion Pictures and Hari Om Entertainment, with UTV Motion Pictures also serving as the distributor. The film had a production budget of nearly ₹60 crore and managed to earn around ₹75 crore at the box office.
The film also features Ranjeet, Mukesh Tiwari, Rakhee Tandon, Smita Jaykar, Chahat Khanna, and Shilpi Sharma in supporting roles, with special cameo appearances by Mallika Sherawat and Vidya Balan.
The film Thank You marked 15th collaboration between Akshay Kumar and Suniel Shetty. Written by Anees Bazmee along with Rajan Aggarwal, Nisar Akhtar, Rajiv Kaul, and Ikram Akhtar, the film marks the return of the writing team that previously worked together on No Problem (2010).

Three best friends, Raj Malhotra (Bobby Deol), Vikram Chopra (Irrfan Khan), and Yogi Mathur (Suniel Shetty), run a yacht company in Toronto and are notorious womanizers.
